Sea Lion Cove

Offered are two new 330 square foot rooms situated above the Homer Spit beach. Each has a spectacular view of the ocean, mountains, glaciers, Augustine volcano and inspiring sunsets. Also you can watch fishing boats, hundreds of sea birds and a variety of sea mammals including sea otters and even feeding orcas.

Each room has the following:
  • Queen bed and full size futon sleeper (up to four people)
  • Full bath, south side has jetted tub
  • Kitchenette with fridge, microwave and sink
  • TV and telephone
  • Shared deck over the beach
The rooms are located on the second floor of the Sea Lion Art Gallery (work by noted artist Gary Lyon and other Alaska artists). Once there you are surrounded by all of the Homer Spit attractions including the Boat Harbor, "the Fishing Hole", halibut and salmon charters, excellent restaurants, fresh seafood, gift shops and great beachwalking.
