Our quiet retreat is conveniently located just two and a half miles from the town of Homer, Alaska. From our large deck and bay windows enjoy the majestic view of the Homer spit, mountains, glaciers, and bay.

Your hostess Maria makes you feel comfortable in her beautiful, spacious home. She has lived in Homer, Alaska since 1983.

Maria is very familar with everything Homer has to offer -- especially when it comes to fishing! Her sons are all commercial fishermen - a true Alaska fishing family!

Maria is also a great cook. Check out her recently published Majestic View Breakfast Recipes cookbook and you'll know why she enjoys making delicious homemade hot breakfasts for her guests every morning. She's always glad to substitute a sack lunch instead of breakfast for the fisher-folk.

Nature and Wildlife

Majestic View B&B is nestled in a wilderness area that is a haven for Alaskan wildlife.

Guests can enjoy walking on the many nature trails around the house, which boast almost daily moose sightings as well as other wildlife.

There is also a large garden in the backyard, which often serves as a meeting place for the local moose.

Rooms and Amenities

• Our clean, well-appointed rooms are all large and each has its own private bath.
• You are welcome to use our television and telephones at your leisure.
• You'll love the views from our spacious deck, equipped with a picnic table and a gas grill just waiting for your freshly caught fish!
• We also can accommodate your well-behaved pets, who are welcome to stay in our nice, heated garage.

Children are welcome at Majestic View! Maria loves children and her home is well-equipped to comfortably accommodate and entertain them. The rec room includes:

Rates and Cancellation Policies

• Rates vary between $125 and $150 plus tax for double or single occupancy.
• $15.00 for each additional person.
• We accept personal checks and credit cards
• If you give notice of cancellation 2 weeks prior to your stay, you will receive a 50% refund.
• We are unable to give refunds for cancellations with less than one week notice.
