I can only summarize the
trip in one word - FANTASTIC! Last summer (2003) was the 2nd consecutive
year our group of 10 made the trip. The Lodge was willing and did
accommodate whatever fishing experience each of us desired. The hosts,
scenery, accommodations, food, service and, of course, the fishing was
unsurpassed. A trip of a lifetime. No one should ever pass up the
opportunity to take this trip with Larsen

time of their life. The cooking is wonderful and everyone makes you
feel like you are the most important group there is. We all have loads

“Fishing from Larsen Bay Lodge has been the best fishing we've ever
experienced. We caught our limit of silver salmon every day. At the end of each day we pulled the crab pot that was set 230 feet deep and the tanner crabs were stunning (not to mention how delicious they were). The food served by the Lodge was excellent and the accommodations were perfect. We really enjoyed seeing the killer whales right out from Larsen Bay Lodge. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous.”

“My father and I have fished the last two summers at Larsen Bay Lodge. Each time our experience has been outstanding. We have fished the Pacific coast and Great Lake for years, neither of which has come close to the fishing at Larsen Bay. The staff is experienced, professional, and give the extra effort to make the trip worthwhile. The accommodations are comfortable, the food is world-class. Larsen Bay Lodge is an excellent place for
fishing and hunting. My friends and I have been making our annual coho
and halibut fishing to Alaska for over 15 years, but our last 7 years
has been to Larsen Bay Lodge. We have fished both in rivers and ocean
around Larsen Bay and have done well. Professionalism is a hallmark of
the Larsen Bay guides and staff. The guides know the area and are
willing to go the extra mile. The staff treat you like royalty and the
rooms are nice and clean. The air service from Kodiak is excellent as
they have regular scheduled times or you can charter. Their staff
cleans, freezes, and boxes your fish, so you have time to be a tourist.
Bird watching is very good, but bear watching is fantastic. Larsen Bay
Lodge is a great place and when going there, kick back, relax, and enjoy
your stay there. |
