Some Alaska Lodges are in remote locations and operate
off a generator. Larsen Bay Lodge is on the outskirts of a remote village
of approx.75 residents adjoining a 2 million acre refuge - but there is a
hydroelectric plant supplying electricity! So that means you dont have to
listen to a generator and then use a flashlight after they turn the
generator off for the night. Instead you can fish or hunt all day, come
home, take a hot shower, if necessary wash and dry wet clothes, watch Sports
Center after dinner, or plug in your video camera and watch highlights of
your day afield! In the morning if you like, you can watch CNN or the
Weather Channel before heading of for another day of adventure. You can call
home any time you like. Larsen Bay Lodge offers the best of both worlds!
You can have your cake and eat it too!
Our deluxe beachfront accommodations include 2 lodges
and 4 private cabins. We are located on the beach so many of our rooms have
incredible bay views. The main lodge has a large dining area with a
beautiful stone fireplace. Social areas are equipped with satellite TV, card
table and pool table. Suites and cabins have queen size beds, private
bathrooms and decks.
Prepare to be pampered!
