grounds for most of Bristol Bay's sockeye salmon

Among the
many species you might expect to encounter in the waters
of the Iliamna drainage are the arctic grayling, dolly
varden, rainbow trout, lake trout, sockeye (red) salmon,
coho (silver) salmon, the mighty Chinook (king) salmon,
and the northern pike.
Regardless
of your experience level, or your preferred tackle, the

Enormous by
any measure, Lake Iliamna is nearly as large as Lake
Michigan; measuring 78 miles long, 22 miles wide, with
depths to 1,192 feet. Among its prize trophy-size fish are
the world's largest rainbow trout.
