One of only a couple Original Roadhouses remaining. Lodge, Restaurant, Tavern and Cabins are located on the famous Copper River. Real Alaska! A historic roadhouse that has 10 rooms, 4 Cabins, a restaurant and tavern on the Copper River. All buildings are on the National Register of Historic Places. The roadhouses were located every 15 to 30 miles (a distance a person could walk in a day). All but two have been destroyed, mostly by fire. The grounds contain many antiques from the early days. The Carriage House Restaurant is considered to be the most unique dining experience in the Copper River Valley. Very authentic and rustic.
