The Aurora– Express now consists of seven authentic Alaska Railroad cars resting on winding track, nestled on fifteen acres of towering spruce where you will enjoy panaoramic views of the Tenana River, the Alaskan Mountain Range and the City of Fairbanks. We have an assortment of Alaskan artifacts and beadwork. There is a large deck for sunning, barbecuing, and relaxing after your visits in and around Fairbanks.

A full-course breakfast is served "Family style" in the Diner Car at approximately 8:00 a.m. daily. We cater to those who have special dietary needs or early morning departures.

There are two of the original eleven Pullman sleeper cars. Many of the rooms have been decorated with historical themes from the late 1800's. Other cars have faithfully been restored to the elegant romance of the great train (the well–appointed) sleeper cars and have many added decorations and features as well.
