On board the M/V Experience One, we can bring you closer to the real Alaska you have come to see. We offer special custom day trips for fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking and wildlife viewing in remote areas.

Excursions for Cruise Ship Passengers
We specialize in offering private half-day fishing charters for cruise ship passengers. We can meet your party right at the dock and whisk you out to your fishing hole to catch the big one. We provide everything you need to have a great fishing experience. Just jump on board M/V Experience One, enjoy smoked salmon hors d' oeuvres and leave the guiding to us!

Five-Star Fishing Charters
We offer half and full day charters that can be customized to meet your group's needs. Our fishing trips include all gear necessary for halibut, salmon, snapper, yelloweye and ling cod. We also have crab traps, if you'd like to try your luck for dungeness crab.

We offer excellent personal service and many amenities to make your experience more enjoyable, including hot/cold non-alcoholic drinks, smoked salmon and other munchies to eat on our excursions. For your convenience, fishing licenses can be purchased on board.

The M/V Experience One is the only vessel in Ketchikan that is licensed to carry more than 6 passengers. Groups with 6 or more people, however, will not be combined with any other groups. This vessel is easy to board and wheelchair accessiblity is no problem.

We also have two partners with boats that can carry 6 people each.

Wildlife Viewing and Whale Watching
Southeast Alaska is home to abundant marine wildlife including orcas (killer whales), humpback whales, sea lions, otters, eagles and many other birds. Sometimes we also see bears and deer on land or even swimming between the small islands.
